Bernalillo County After School Recreation Program Has Begun Again
 After a two year absence, County Commission Chair Alan Armijo and the Board of County Commissioners are proud to announce the reinstatement of the After School Recreation Program at all seven County Community Centers. Beginning August 20, 2009, the first day of school for APS, the program will be in place for elementary and middle school aged children.
“We are very pleased to bring this type of programming back to our community centers,” says Commission Chair Alan Armijo. “It is a tremendous asset for parents and children.”
