Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and Bernalillo County Fire Department Have Merged
 The Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and the Bernalillo County Fire Department have agreed to a merger to better serve the Fire and Rescue needs of Village residents. Bernalillo County Commission Chair Alan Armijo and Los Ranchos Mayor Larry Abraham will be on hand for a news conference to explain the merger along with Bernalillo County Fire Chief John Garcia.
“Residents of Los Ranchos will benefit greatly from this merger,” says Commissioner Armijo, “with increased professional staffing and the eventual construction of a new fire station.”
