Bernalillo County Commissioner Michael Brasher invites East Mountain residents to attend a community meeting about water resources in the East Mountain Area. County staff from the Public Works Division Water Resources Program will be present to answer questions about recent water issues, current water quantity data, the newly revised County Water Conservation Ordinance, water conservation incentives, and storm water quality. Questions about the proposed Campbell Ranch development will also be addressed.
“Water is life, if you live in the East Mountains,” says Commissioner Michael Brasher. “This public meeting will allow residents to ask the tough questions and get the necessary information that they need to help sustain their lives.”
The community meeting will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 6:00pm at Los Vecinos Community Center located at 478 1/2 Old Highway 66, Tijeras, NM.
