BERNALILLO COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH COUNCIL

The Bernalillo County Community Health Council strives to improve the health and well being of all Bernalillo County residents and neighborhoods through a variety of strategies and activities.
The BCCHC has two priority areas 1) assist in the reduction of the teen birth rate for Bernalillo County residents, ages 15-19 by 15% by 2010 and 2) Increase access to healthcare for people living in Bernalillo County. In addition to these two priority areas, the Council is focusing on increasing the capacity of the Health Council and community.

No Cost or Low Cost Health Insurance
The State of New Mexico currently offers several health insurance programs for children, teens, adults, families, women/pregnant women, small businesses, etc. Come to the CNM Workforce Training Center on August 11th to apply for no cost or low cost health insurance.
