Do your children need something fun to do this summer? Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation Department still has some opening in the 2007 Summer Program. Students, ages 5 to 14 will enjoy sports, arts and crafts, special events, and field trips for the 2007 Summer Program.
Sites include Barcelona Elementary School, Mission Elementary School, North Star Elementary School and Valle Vista Elementary School. The summer program is also available at all seven of Bernalillo County’s Community Centers.

Local law enforcement agencies will conduct extensive DWI enforcement activities in BernalilloCounty on Super Bowl Sunday. As part of its ongoing efforts to promote alternatives to drinking and driving and to prevent alcohol-involved crashes, the Bernalillo County DWI Program will extend its popular Safe Ride program to Super Bowl Sunday.
