Mountain View Community residents in the South Valley will have the perfect opportunity tomorrow to dispose of all their unwanted washing machines, TVs, hot water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, yard clippings, scrap metal, tires, and even hazardous waste.

 

The Bernalillo County Solid Waste Department, Commissioner Art De La Cruz, the Mountain View Neighborhood Association and Mountain View Commercial Properties, will host a free, “South Valley Clean” event at Mt. View Community Center from 8 a.m. to noon.

 

Dumpsters will be parked at the center to receive the waste and will only be accessible to Mountain View residents and businesses. Please be prepared to show proof of residency or a code violation notice if you plan to use the service.

 

The County will also sponsor a recycling event at the center the following month on Sunday, November 15.
