Bernalillo County Commissioner Michael Brasher and CUIDAD Soil and Water are sponsoring a FREE Green Waste Disposal event at the County’s East Mountain Transfer Station beginning Sunday, November 8 through Saturday, November 14, 2009.
“This event has been a great success over the last few years,” says Commissioner Brasher. “It’s the time of year that many residents clear their landscaping and most, importantly, create or maintain a ‘defensible space’ around the structures of their property so that, in the event of a wildfire, they are more protected.”
