Commissioner De La Cruz announced the First Annual Hand in Hand will be held at Westside Community Center on November 7, 2009 from 10:00 am to noon. Many County Officials will be there to answer any questions or concerns from the citizens of Bernalillo County. |

Commissioner Brasher announced that the New Mexico Hispano Entertainment Association will be having their annual Latin Award program on November 7th at Isleta Casino which is also a fund raiser. He also stated that November 7th is Green Waste Day in the East Mountains and will have the transfer station open to take that type of waste. |

Chairman Armijo announced that the County will be accepting applications for the position of Bernalillo County Sheriff through November 10, 2009. |
